English lessons are skills focused and creative, full of reading together, writing, speaking, and drawing. We study marvellous books and texts and create lively folders for our written work. Reading is the key to all learning and remains a sharp focus throughout the school. 

All children at Broughton Manor engage with public performance, trips to the theatre, writing and speaking competitions, and use of digital media. Our annual English exam results are consistently well above National Average in all school-age year groups.
