Why Choose Us

Babies spend their day in a loving, calm, stimulating environment.  We work closely with families to ensure their baby’s routine is met consistently, and support families with weaning, sleep routines and feeding.  Your baby will have access to a dining area, with seating and tables specifically designed for them.  We work in partnership with our families with feeding, whether it be bottle feeding, pureed foods or baby led weaning. All babies have their own allocated cot and bedding, and staff ensure they fall soundly to sleep. We are always there to comfort them when needed.

Our babies and younger children are encouraged to play with and explore a variety of toys, participate in a range of stimulating activities, and have lots of fresh air, either through walks around our local area or in our baby garden.

We understand the importance of language and communication from birth.  Our staff constantly talk and sing to the babies and young children, to encourage the development of language and understanding. We believe it is important for every child to feel valued and special, we celebrate our differences and diversity from an early age and this ethos is embedded in all we do.

We provide daily opportunities for learning and exploring across all areas of the curriculum.  Whether it be adult led or child initiated, our staff carefully plan a range of opportunities and activities based on the child’s individual interests, to support play and explorative skills, develop their independence and encourage them to be active learners, and creative critical thinkers.

Our nurturing staff know all of our children extremely well and consistently provide opportunities to develop social skills, language and communication and physical development.  We choose our staff with qualifications and experience in mind. We believe that the quality of our staff is all-important. The calibre of our staff is the key to your child’s happiness, safety, development and security.  Our staff receive regular training regarding the curriculum, child development, first aid and health and safety regulations. We ensure they are familiar with children’s learning styles, providing them with the best care and education possible.

Key members of the team include our Nursery managers Sharon Leeves and Teresa Davies, both of whom have worked in the Nursery for many years, nurturing generations of little ones with loving care, and providing a great example to their staff.  Another key team player is our onsite chef, Jolanta Bolse and her fabulous team, who prepare delicious, nutritious meals for every child, including a morning snack, a hot lunch and tea.
