Charity Support

Our compassionate children at Broughton Manor are keen to support worthy causes, both at home and abroad, and we take every opportunity we can to help those in need.

Annually we support chosen charities, presented and voted upon by our pupils, and throughout the year our charity committee works towards fundraising events. In addition to our nominated charities, we support a variety of charitable causes, and this has included fundraising campaigns for The British Legion Poppy Appeal, Children in Need, Comic Relief and Sport Relief as well as supporting other national initiatives including Anti-Bullying Week and National Mental Health Awareness Day.

For our annual Harvest Festival, we receive a fantastic amount of food donations, which the Head Boy and Head Girl deliver to the local Food Bank.

Last year, in the run-up to Christmas, we supported two charities within our local community. The NEED Project, who provide for people in poverty and financial hardship by providing food packages and gifts for children at Christmas and The Salvation Army, who collect Christmas gift donations for families who would otherwise struggle. We collected an array of toys, boxes of biscuits and other foods and a total of 197 selection boxes!
